My pets

  Do you have any pets? Do you like the pets? I have a bird, parakeet. He is 8 years old. The average of life-span of parakeet is 5 to 8 years, so he lives a long life. He has yellow head and blue and green body. The types of parakeet as he looks like are called rainbow parakeet.   I invited him when I was 11 years old. At that time, I wanted to have a parakeet, because my friends have cute parakeet. I asked my mother I want to have a cute parakeet every day, so my mother and my father gave me a very cute parakeet for one of my birthday presents. I was so excited!   His name is pi-yon. He says his own name with a cute voice, so I am healed every day. I taught him songs. I like carp, a baseball team. So I sing and make him to listen a carp song " soreike carp". He remembers it and songs a little. These days I taught him Mickey Mouse March song, but he hasn't song it yet.   He likes eating and playing on a swing and bathing. Podcast "What's Saijo Famous for?"

 Today I listened to What's Saijo Famous for.  They talked about Saijo is famous for sake which is the traditional Japanese alcohol.  A woman asked a man who is born in Saijo "What are some places in Hiroshima that I should definitely go to?" He recommended her to go to his hometown, Saijo.  And he introduced her that there is a sake festival in Saijo. It is one of the most famous liquor festivals in Japan.   When I turn twenty, I want to drink sake made in Saijo and go to liquor festival in Saijo with my friends and family.

 Hello, everyone.  I’m Amiri Shibata. I live in Hiroshima City now. But until I was about three years old, I lived in Hatsukaichi City near Miyajima. The place where I lived was the distance that Itsukushima Shine can be seen from the balcony. I saw Miyajima Fireworks from the balcony every year. It was mysterious and very beautiful.  In Hiroshima, there are many tourist sites. For example, Peace Memorial Parks, Miyajima and Matsuda Stadium etc. In this blog I’ll write about Miyajima.  First, I’ll write about Miyajima’s food.  Momiji manju, oysters, and conger eel rice called anagomeshi in Japanese are famous foods that can be eaten in Miyajima.  Momiji Manju is a sweet in the shape of autumn leaves and is also a famous confectionery in Hiroshima. The taste is generally red bean paste, but there are also flavors such as bean paste, custard, chocolate, cheese, matcha, chestnut, potato, and fruit.
