My Favorite Subject

  My favorite subject is music. Music is a more enjoyable subject than any other subjects. What's your favorite subject? I think a subject you feel like are which you think it is very enjoyable.
  I have liked music since I was four years old. Because I started the piano lesson. I have liked music since I started play the piano. I quit the piano lesson when I was third grades of high school, but I play the piano every day. The time of playing the piano is my happy time. I can be relax during I am playing the piano.


  My favorite music genre is classical music, because piano song contains many classical music. I like Mozart and Chopin. Their songs are very attractive. I can be relax when I playing on the piano or listening to, so I often listen to these songs before I fall asleep.
  I play the piano with my younger sister. We do piano duet. We played ”Sabre Dance" and ”Orpheus in the Underworld" in the piano performance. Doing piano duet is hard to match. I feel it is easier to match the each other’s parts with my younger sister than other people who has piano duet with me ever.
  In the music class, I like playing the recorder. I really enjoyed playing the harmony with large numbers of classmates. Besides, to sing many various songs with classmates and to ensemble with classmates using various musical instruments were enjoyable things.
  I want to take a music class at the university like at the junior and high school.

    I have been playing trombone since I was in elementary school. I have also taken piano lessons, but I am not very good at it. I like music, too. Actually, I'm not very good at classical music because I think it's too difficult. If there is any classical music that beginners can enjoy, please tell me!

 Hello, everyone.  I’m Amiri Shibata. I live in Hiroshima City now. But until I was about three years old, I lived in Hatsukaichi City near Miyajima. The place where I lived was the distance that Itsukushima Shine can be seen from the balcony. I saw Miyajima Fireworks from the balcony every year. It was mysterious and very beautiful.  In Hiroshima, there are many tourist sites. For example, Peace Memorial Parks, Miyajima and Matsuda Stadium etc. In this blog I’ll write about Miyajima.  First, I’ll write about Miyajima’s food.  Momiji manju, oysters, and conger eel rice called anagomeshi in Japanese are famous foods that can be eaten in Miyajima.  Momiji Manju is a sweet in the shape of autumn leaves and is also a famous confectionery in Hiroshima. The taste is generally red bean paste, but there are also flavors such as bean paste, custard, chocolate, cheese, matcha, chestnut, potato, and fruit. Oden

    Today's dinner was "Oden". Oden came from a dish "Dengaku" which people eat in the 14th century. Denraku is a tofu dish.      In the Edo period, the economy developed and soy sauce had become popular. A lot of people cooked using soy sauce, sugar and mirin. This dish was Oden.      From this period, Oden stalls became popular for people. Oden of this period included food which ordinary people can buy affordable. For example, tofu and konjac. After that, people have used many various foods for ingredients of Oden.      Now there are many tastes of oden .Taste is different for the area. For example, kelp taste Oden and miso taste Oden, soy sauce taste Oden. I haven't eaten all tastes, so I'd like to eat Oden which I'd never tried.       The first in the ranking of ingredients of Oden was Japanese white radish. Podcast "What's Saijo Famous for?"

 Today I listened to What's Saijo Famous for.  They talked about Saijo is famous for sake which is the traditional Japanese alcohol.  A woman asked a man who is born in Saijo "What are some places in Hiroshima that I should definitely go to?" He recommended her to go to his hometown, Saijo.  And he introduced her that there is a sake festival in Saijo. It is one of the most famous liquor festivals in Japan.   When I turn twenty, I want to drink sake made in Saijo and go to liquor festival in Saijo with my friends and family.
