Scientific American : Animal Kids Listen to Their Parents Even before Birth

Today I listened to a podcast about nature. The main theme is embryos of the animal listen to songs of their animals because embryos try to make the bodies which are suitable for the environment.
The small size of birds which live in the hot place are advantageous, so the parent birds bark to their eggs when it is hot. And embryos listen to and recognize their parents singing. A child born from this egg is smaller than the others.
Many researchers said that embryos have nerve which can recognize sound from their parents.
